Being an adult with ADHD brings with it an array of nuance to life, sometimes funny, sometimes painful, sometimes hilarious, sometimes excruciating.
I came home tonight to a letter from my FlexPlan coverage asking me to provide a receipt for a prescription that was purchased four months ago.
The likelihood that I would have managed to retain a receipt for more than three days is absolutely ludicrous. My mother? Would still have the receipt carefully filed in a waterproof-fireproof-bombproof cabinet TEN YEARS LATER.
But not me.
So I can plan at the expiration of the 30 grace days they’ve
given me to reimburse my Health Care Flex Plan 80-odd dollars for a
prescription I purchased. You know, for
my HEALTH CARE. Which my FLEX PLAN IS
SUPPOSED TO BE PAYING FOR. Which flex plan I am paying into with my own
money.
Which somehow in ADHD world makes PERFECT SENSE.
